Opening date: January 26 2026 – Closing date: February 26 2026 SOCIETÀ ITALIANA PER LE CONDOTTE D’ACQUA 1880 Spa, an Italian leader in the engineering and construction sector, is looking for an Executive Sales Manager to be placed in the Sales Department at the Rome office with the aim of strengthening the development of activities related to tenders and public contracts at national and international level. The successful candidate will report directly to the CEO. The role will make a decisive contribution to the growth of the company’s portfolio of projects through participation in public tenders, including EU and non-EU tenders, both directly and through consortia (RTI and ATI). Main Activities and Responsibilities
  • Development of new commercial opportunities for large-scale contracts in the public sector and for infrastructure projects.
  • Maintaining and developing relationships with contracting authorities, real estate funds, designers and commercial partners.
  • Contributing to the preparation of bids in coordination with technical and legal departments.
  • Monitoring the commercial pipeline and performance using CRM tools to support strategic planning.
  • Supporting international and multilateral tender initiatives.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: Degree in Engineering or Architecture.
  • Experience: at least 10 years in similar roles with general contractors or companies operating in the infrastructure/major works or plant engineering sector.
  • Technical Skills:
    •   In-depth knowledge of the Public Procurement Code (Legislative Decree 36/2023 and subsequent amendments) and the FIDIC      Code.
    •   Technical expertise in reading complex infrastructure projects.
    •    Mastery of qualification criteria (SOA).
  • Knowledge of written and spoken English. Essential requirement.
  • Active portfolio of strategic clients in Italy and abroad.
  • Ability to liaise with public and private institutional counterparts.
  • Strong results-oriented approach, strategic vision and entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Willingness to travel frequently and work at the head office.
